The following message is from DIO, HQ Salisbury Plain Training Area (SPTA):

“A large scale exercise is taking place on SPTA. Over the last week late night firing beyond normal firing times has been conducted in SPTA West (Warminster).

The final iteration of extended late night firing will take place on Sunday and be completed no later than 0230hrs on Monday.

We always attempt to be good neighbours to the general public in managing noise pollution however operational requirements occasionally dictate that training units have a requirement to live fire beyond normal firing times.”
