Places of worship
Our community is welcoming to people of all faiths and beliefs.
The villages of West Lavington & Littleton Panell boast a number of places of worship, whilst Salisbury’s world famous Cathedral is just 19 miles away.
All Saints’ Church
Situated in Church Street, West Lavington, All Saints Church is a fine, ancient building – part of the Church of England, in the Diocese of Salisbury and Deanery of Devizes. However it is much more than just a building, it is also the people who regularly worship there.
The Rector (Vicar) is responsible for the parishes of Market Lavington, Easterton, Great Cheverell and Little Cheverell. The vicarage and benefice office is situated at 25 White Street, West Lavington SN104LW. The benefice office be contacted to discuss Baptisms, Weddings, Funerals and any other matter.

Nearly every Sunday morning there is a service with coffee served afterwards, but it is wise to check ‘News & Views’ or Church notice board for timings.
Special services and events take place at Christmas, Easter, Harvest, Remembrance Day etc;
There is an active choir who are always looking for more to join. Sunday School meet twice a month and we always have coffee after each main service. Breakfast church for all the family is at 9am on the second sunday of every month.
Opportunities also exist for those wishing to explore the Christian Faith.
Ebenezer Baptist Church – High Street, West Lavington
We are a group of ordinary local people who have experienced the life-transforming power of Jesus Christ. We meet at the Chapel to worship God and learn more about Him from the Bible. We would like to share the joy of knowing Jesus as Lord and Saviour with the people in West Lavington and the surrounding area.

St Joseph’s Church – Cheverell Road, Littleton Panell
The Roman Catholic church of St James is part of the Devizes parish, and is signposted from the Dauntsey crossroads junction with the A360 High Street.
Mass is held on Sundays at 9.00am. The priest in charge is Father Paul Gonsalves on 01380 723572 and further advice and information is available on their parish website.
You can hire the hall for £10 per hour, and contact is through Debra Massey also on 01380 723572.
