Dear all,
We have received confirmation this evening from Wiltshire Council’s Planning Department that Dauntsey’s has requested an extension to the consultation period until mid-December.
In their communication with the Planning Officer, the applicant has said that they are aware of public comments via the Planning Portal and due to the helpful feedback received they are readdressing their proposal, in particular how it impacts the Public Right Of Way.
As a result, the official discussion of the application by councillors, which features on the agenda for tomorrow’s meeting (4th November), will be deferred to December’s meeting by which time refreshed plans and supporting documents should be available for all to review.
As a parish council we recognise that we represent and work on behalf of the whole community. We therefore think it is sensible to continue to welcome comments on the application as part of the public participation segment of the meeting tomorrow. If you would like to speak during the public forum you would be very welcome; please make contact with our clerk (clerk@westlavington.org.uk). Comments will also be welcome during December’s meeting once revised plans have been made available.
